Not the type of arrest we’re used to, though we should be! I started drinking as a young teen and have found that I didn’t mature as well as some others. My development was arrested at about 13. I never leaned to cope with one single thing without good ole alcohol. Not so good. Sometimes being alcohol free just fu€k*ng sucks. We have to feel and deal without numbing and avoiding. So please be patient with yourself as you grow. If you drank excessively for 5 years, after you quit, you won’t be perfectly perfect in one and know how to handle it all.
