Everyone supported me when I finally quit. Why? Well, it was baaaad. I have heard about people who have loved ones who tell them that they’re doing fine, they don’t need to quit. First of all, if you make a decision for something that is right for you, you don’t need to explain yourself to anyone. Secondly, it’s NONE of their business. I used to get threatened by people who didn’t drink enough in my eyes. I’d hound them to drink more, get them shots, tell them to (wo)man up. I was a perfect example of how to shine the spotlight and focus on others so they didn’t notice me. Um. That didn’t work. What does is not picking up a drink. That’s it. And that’s more than enough.
