Slipping

The strongest person in a recovery space isn’t always the one who has been sober for 35 years. I’ve found the strongest ones to be the people who “slip” and drink but come back after. It takes such courage to admit and own it. When we don’t try there’s no way we can succeed. I’ve told people that I don’t know if I’d have the strength and courage to try again if I took a drink (well for me, make it ten). So…here’s to the ones who slip and possibly fall, but get back up and start again. We’ve got your back. Happy Monday, sober family! Keep it simple today.
