Sounds like a beak up quote telling us to move on. I had a much easier time breaking up with exes than I did with alcohol. And why? Well..maybe it was because when I was done with the man I had ole trusty by my side. Ole trusty wasn’t to be trusted, though. How many times did I try to dump alcohol? I can’t even. Once I set a whole 12 pack of good beer by a dumpster in the hopes someone would grab it. Sure didn’t put it IN the dumpster and guess who went and grabbed it the next day? I’d throw full bottles over my back fence only to perform search and rescue missions and come home with ticks and poison ivy. In college I can’t remember how many cigarette butts I drank left in beers at my place. Foul. I can’t believe I survived those years. Thanks to my sis and our sober sisters today because I’m not surviving now…I’m thriving. Happy Saturday, sober family! Keep it simple today.
