Last night at our support group one of the ladies asked if anyone else has a hard time getting ready to go out without having a few drinks. I’d forgotten that I used to feel that way. Now I can put on some #beyonce , make a coffee, and do my hair without a second thought. When I was newly sober that didn’t happen. I’d forgo the getting ready and just head out as is because I couldn’t have a few beers while doing it. I love reminders from the women who have a few months sober time. I can see what I used to struggle with and hope to shed some thoughts and inspiration to those who haven’t walked this path as long as I have. Happy Friday, sober family. Keep it simple today.
