My sister and I spent a ton of time together today. I’m in NC, she’s in CA, and technology allows us to zoom, FaceTime, and text. We had an incredible, inspiring support group meeting today (@coach.crys was on FIRE), then we called our dad to wish him a happy Dad’s Day. We can be present, show up when asked and sometimes even if we aren’t asked. 😬😉😂. It’s easy to be grateful when you’re not sick spiritually, physically, and emotionally. We can attribute our genuine happiness to being alcohol-free and to our KICKASS sober sisters from all walks of life and all over the world. We both recognize that we’ve gotten second chances and we don’t take it for granted. Happy Sunday, sober family. Keep it simple today.
