Sneaky signs

I had sneaky signs and blatant signs and somewhere in between signs that told me to quit drinking the way I did. I dodged red flags like I was Frogger dodging cars. Never was too good at that game. Even when I think about normal nights with regular drinkers there was always something f^cked up happening. The girls in college who would cheat on their boyfriends because they were wasted. The fistfights guys would get involved in but never would have without that alcohol ingredient giving them liquid courage. Even the nights that we’d have to stay longer at someone’s house so the alcohol would wear off and we could drive. Those were awkward af sometimes. I didn’t need any more signs that it was time to stop. My recycling man thanks me I’m sure. Happy Friday, sober family. Keep it simple today.
